We went to St. Michaels for the Fourth of July. We ran into Dan Brown and his family at the Crab Claw. He was the daddy who needed a bone marrow transplant at the same time as you. He is fine. Doctors made a pill that made him better without having to get new blood.

We had a good dinner. The ducks weren't hanging out like normal. I got Joe a couple of handfuls of corn but there was no-one to throw it to. Here is us after dinner.

This weekend also was Bill and Cristina's anniversary. They got married 7 years ago in Spain. Even though they don't have fireworks in Spain on the Fourth of July, I bet you'd say that you had a lot of fun.

Here is a photo of Bill and Cristina on a boat that we took a day or so before the wedding.

They looked pretty happy dontcha think. Here is them this weekend with Isabel and James.

Here is you on that boat in Spain, or maybe it was Portugal.

We went out on Uncle Peter's boat to see the fireworks at Oxford. We dropped anchor right near where the ferry leaves from Bellevue.

He is keeping his boat at Nana and Papa Sy's house.

One of the highlights of the weekend was Jack going out in the kayak alone for the first time. I was really proud of him. He has been kayaking at camp and he feels really comfortable going out in the cove all by himself.

He is growing up.

Joe is growing up too. He tells stories and is a real good talker. A lot of what he does reminds me of you.

I love you.
