Helaine asked me if I would read Torah at Jake's Bar Mitzvah. I was blown away. The date is October 25. Based on Hannah's Bat Mitzvah, I think I'll be able to do it without crying. But since it'll be the double-whammy of sharing the bimah with your buddy Jake and your 13th birthday, I am guessing it will all be pretty emotional.
